The Super Fly holster is constructed of a very tacky material, often compared to fly paper, meaning that the holster will absolutely not budge in your pocket. Additional features include a removable outer flap to further break up your pistol's outline, slick pack cloth interior for a friction-free draw and polymer reinforcements in critical areas.

I bought two of these and really like them. Because I wear different types of clothing, from cargo pants to jeans, it is nice to have the removable flap so that it stays in the pocket regardless of the pocket size. It also breaks up the outline very well.

I bought this product for carrying an S&W J frame in my pocket. It was well made and the design was nice, but it was too large to fit in my pocket. I ended up with and Uncle Mike's pocket holster which really fits the bill.

Perfect! I received the ...

Perfect! I received the order today including the Super Fly Pocket Holster for use with the Ruger LCR .357 revolver. I where 36w x 31L jeans 50% of the time and 5.11 Tactical Stryke Pants w/ Flex-Tac the remainder of the time. The Super Fly fits like a glove!With the Ruger LCR .357 inserted into the holster, getting the holster into the jeans front right pocket is mildly challenging, but once it has passed the sewn opening, the Super Fly fits perfectly. As for extracting the Ruger LCR, the holster is ideal. The CCW is extracted with ease and ready for service.The Super Fly conceals very well. With the detachable flap installed and included during insertion into the pocket, the CCW is invisible. It looks like a bi-fold wallet in a front pocket. This purchase is well worth the money and the Super Fly is a much better product for concealment over a belt holster or waistband holster. Now that I have purchased one of these holsters and see the valve as exemplary, I am ordering additional Super Fly holsters as spares.

I like this holster a lot ...

I like this holster a lot and have one fo rthe Kel-Tec P-3AT and one for the S&W J-Frame model 36. But I do have one concern. I wish the flap were not velcro'd in place. All the added layers to make it removable also make the holster stiffer, thicker and creates the look of a fat wallet. I have written DeSantis about this, frankly they were not impressed with the idea. I will be taking one of my Super Fly holsters apart to delete the velcro, sew the flap in place and get rid of the stiffer, thicker layers of material on that side. Except for this one concern it's a terrific holster, stays in the pocket and fills it too.

I'm 5'7", wear a 36/30" ...

I'm 5'7", wear a 36/30" pant, and carry every day. I had a S&W 638 Bodyguard in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster discreetly for years and loved it, so when I replaced it recently with a 442, I bought this holster. (I give the Nemesis a full 5 stars for value and function.) Functionally, this holster is identical to the Nemesis: it stays put, sits square, and does a very good job staying put when you draw. The one major drawback of this holster, however, is that it's significantly bigger, and looks ridiculous through the pants with the optional flap installed. As others noted, it's a really tight fit to use in a fitted pair of jeans, and it fills out dress pants pockets way more than a regular Nemesis. I'll keep this one, but will not use the optional flap. High quality, but I'd recommend going with the regular Nemesis for the best concealment if you're small- to medium-framed.

Excellent holster. Very ...

Excellent holster. Very grippy material so it will not come out with the gun. Will not shift in your pocket - the grip is in the same position every time. Obviously needs a little breaking in. Mouth holds shape well, making re-holstering very easy. Breaks up outline well, but a little bulky in fitted jeans. Highly recommended.

Wow! Bought this for my ...

Wow! Bought this for my new Ruger LCR. I needed a lightweight pocket holster for this lightweight .38 special revolver. I looked at a competing brand made from cowhide or horsehide with a rubbery outer stitched onto the leather, but I didn't like the idea of anything heavier than a nylon holster, plus the loaded revolver in my pocket. I carry this holster in my work slacks which have pretty deep pockets to begin with. The gun draws quickly and smoothly out of the holster and the holster stays in my pocket with the help of the sticky "superfly" outer shell. With time I think the holster will flatten with pressure in my pocket, which seems to be a concern with others. I recommend this slick piece of 21st Century technology!
