This die set includes a Full Length Sizer Die (with decapping unit), Powder Through Expander Die and a Bullet Seater Die which features an adjustable taper to roll crimp. Also includes a shellholder, powder dipper and plastic container. Cases must be lubed prior to sizing.

I purchaed these dies ...

I purchaed these dies mainly because they were inexpensive compared to the REddings I was wanting. Thus far these have been a very pleasent surprise and the new longer length works great in my Dillon RL 550B press. I whole heartedly recommend the Lee Factory Crimp die, best $9 reloading investment I've made. After this experience I would strongly consider using Lee Dies again. I wish that they came with the same Lifetime guarantee that Dillon, RCBS, and Redding do, but I am not betting against Lee to help out if a problem arises. I figure with the savings I covered the extra box of 100 Remington 405g JFP I bought.

These Lee dies are a ...

These Lee dies are a disappointment. They size the brass too small. The expander then makes an offset bulge in the case, leading to the bullet being seated offset of center. After many phone calls to Lee and backing the sizing die way out, I gave up and bought a set of Lyman dies which work perfectly.

These dies work great just like all the other Lee dies I own. I have tried the dies from all the other major manufacturers and the Lee dies work just as well or better and cost 10 to 20 bucks less. With the other dies you pay more but you don't get more.

What can I say...Lee dies are great. I buy individual special-purpose dies from other manufacturers sometimes but ALL of my die sets are from Lee. Pistol and rifle. However, I do not buy into their lock nuts with the rubber gaskets. I use Dillon 1-inch lock nuts and tighten those babies DOWN :-)

I have used the Lee dies for years with NEVER a problem..I think the biggest thing is,make sure you have them set up the correct way.I never had a bulged case or whatever..Maybe a few scratches on the case but it probably was a dirty case which was my own fault..like I said,I love the lee dies...

I never had a problem with Lee dies until I picked up a set of the 45-70 dies. None of the three dies work right, the deprimer dimples the brass, the expander doesnt work and the seater actually seats bullets crooked. Will be buying a set of RCBS and trashing the lees.

I bought this die set along with the Lee Factory Crimp die. This set includes a shellholder! Most companies make you buy a shellholder. Nice to have everything in one box!

Is it just me, or is scratching up your brass unacceptable? I bought a set of Lee 270 WSM dies a few years ago and they did the same thing. I think Lee better get it together, because Im done buying their dies until they stop this. Im taking them back. The Lee hand press works great though.

This is a pretty good set of dies. I really like the ease of operation -- adjustments like bullet seating depth are quite easy to do. I've previously used Lyman and RCBS dies, and preferred RCBS over Lyman. I bought this Lee 3-die set plus the Lee Factory Crimp die for less that the RCBS 3-die set, and I'm quite happy with my choice. Plus the flare die is a powder-through die, saving a step if you like to flare and charge the case at the same time.

These dies are an excelent value. They preform just as well or better than the others costing much more. You can't go wrong with them. Be sure to buy the crimp die also if you are feeding a lever-gun thouth, the bullet can and will work it's way back into the case with recoil which can ruin your gun and your life.
