Had to constantly tighten ...

Had to constantly tighten rear sight.After tightening, you have to realign sights.Rear sight alignment not fine enough.

I don't know how others who used these sights were able to adjust them to hit point of aim, but I could not. There were no screws included which necessitated using the original screws. They proved to be too short and were completely unscrewed from the base, and it was still shooting high at ten yards.

I agree with most of the reviews.. Well worth the wait on getting them. Very easy to install. Cannot wait to shoot my Ruger MKII .22 cal. Only wish the front sight was of a different color. I see the rear great tho. Overall.. Happy I purchased them.

If your gun has a fixed rear sight you will also need 427527 midway part for this to fit

It's hard to go wrong ...

It's hard to go wrong with these sights. They were insanely easy to install. Took me all of 2 minutes start to finish. You use the same screws already in use for your stock sights. Don't forget to apply blue Loctite to the screw threads. The sights are then anchored. My Mark II bull barrel had stock sights with the very thick front post. The Williams Fire Sight's front post is almost half the width of the stock sight allowing for a more precise bullet placement at distance. These sights are a low light/twilight shooter's dream. They show up beautifully in any condition where there is some light. Next to Tritium sights, these are one of the best iron/open sight upgrades one can have. I have no problem recommending them.

Not sure why the bad reviews of this sight. The Fire Sight it is a direct replacement of the original Ruger sight with positive detent. I have three of the Fire Sights on different guns (two from Midway) and all are a great upgrade. Tip: I purchased and installed these on my MK-I and MK-III Bull Barrel pistols as they have the same adjustable target sights as the MK-II Bull Barrel pistols, but the MK-I and MK-III are not listed an option.

They must have changed the product since the prior reviews as what I received was not as pictured on the Midway site. Rather it is a almost exact duplicate of the stock Ruger Mk II 22/45 front and rear sights except with the fiber optics. The rear was the hinged portion that used the stock pin and screw to fit into the stock base, and the front used the stock front screw, no screws included or were need with the package.Windage and elevation adjustments are positive, crisp and clear. Overall rating is perfect.

The screws are cheap, fell apart, I don't think I over tightened. Yeah, you'll need LocTite too.

The fiber optics are ...

The fiber optics are really small. Adjustment is poor - loosen the screw and slide them around until you think you have it right. When you tighten the screw that keeps it from shifting, it boogers up the rail making it really difficult to make future adjustments.
