I bought this scope for my howa 1500 in 30-06. All I can say is wow! I was a bit hesitant to shell out $200 on a scope but this is head and shoulders above $100 Bushnell I have on mt savage 17hmr. Great eye relief and appears to be on the same par as leupold for quality. Highly recommend this scope, I will try it out for durability on an elk hunt later this year

This is a great scope, it is clear and sharp. I mounted it on my Rock River Arms, .308 "AR" style rifle (LAR-8). It was quick to sight in and has not had any issues at all. I didn't want anything with illumination, or extra stuff, just a good scope for out to 300 yards. It doesn't fog at all, and it has been dropped twice by the little one. It's better than perfect for what I need. I had to use a riser and tall rings as I have a flattop A4 style receiver.

I've had mine a year or so, with a bit of actual field use on a .280 Rem cal "deer rifle". It's a bargain in for my application. The adjustments work great, exceptional clarity for the money. It's held up well being bounced around on 4 wheeler rides and such. Low light conditions are handled better than some more costly glass I own. This is likely the lowest priced scope with the Redfield name I've owned, and it's without a doubt the best. Under $200.00 for a dependable scope, it isnt bad! I would definitely buy another.

I've got one of these mounted on my Mossberg .17HMR and absolutely love it. I had my local gunsmith mount and boresight it for me. Once I got it back, sighting it in and making adjustments was a breeze and VERY accurate.Nice, clear, crisp glass and an excellent value for the money. I don't think you'll find a nicer scope at this price point.

Great scope. Mounted one on a Browning A Bolt. The scope survived weeks of hunting and rough handing without a problem. Heavy rain was no problem. The scope and rifle survived airline flights and baggage handlers without any point of impact changes. I can't get over how clear and bright the scope it. Great value for the money. I really like the sturdy aluminum construction and adjustment ring.

Picked one up in my local gun shop for a JC Higgins/Sears/Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. I have to say for the price paid, the quality of the scope as compared to others in its price range is awesome. I will be buying another when I purchase my AR. Oh, and I liked the fact that you could make quick toolless adjustments as well.

I bought this scope as a cheap backup to my Leupold VX-3L glass for a trip to Africa. I ended up being pleasantly surprised at the quality/dollar ratio. Sure, it's not a top of the line optic, but when held up against other scopes at this price point while in the store, there was simply no comparison: the Redfield was far superior. On a purely subjective level, I'd say the glass is at least on par with the VX-I and WAY better than the Cabela's/Bass pro house brand glass. Add in the click adjustments and great eye relief and you have a real winner for an excellent price. Tip: the finish on the scope is a bit delicate, but I found that Birchwood-Casey's Aluminum Black finish repair is a perfect touch-up for this scope. I scraped a spot and can't even tell where it was anymore after using this fix.
