Nosler Custom Brass was developed to complement their line of custom bullets. Each lot is weight-sorted to provide consistent measurements and capacities for accurate loads and features a Nosler head-stamp. Before shipment, Nosler chamfers and deburrs the case mouths and deburrs the flash hole. Fully prepped and ready to load upon receipt, each piece of brass offers consistency in trimmed length and neck wall thickness. This brass is new and unprimed. This is not loaded ammunition.

Very consistent in weight, length and case neck run-out. Be careful, however, and do NOT load this to the same levels as your other brand brass. The average weight of this brass is nearly 20 grains heavier than Norma brass- 201.7 grns vs. 180.8 grns. Although the case wall thicknesses are the same in both brands, this is due to the case head rising a bit higher in the Nosler brass. The resulting case volume is less- 65.5 grns water vs. 68.6 grns.With this in mind, I treated these cases like military brass. I worked up a new load with IMR4831 and achieved the same velocity with 2.5 grns less powder in these cases vs. the Norma cases.No data yet on how well they last or comparative accuracy... need a few more trips to the range and will report then.

High Quality, Consistent Brass

Bought this brand out of desperation when my usual cartridge was out of stock and am happy I did. These are very consistent in weight and are holding up very well to reloading. They are now my first choice when buying brass.

Didn't experience any poor quality issues with this brass, consistent weight and measurement. pushed primers are actually an indication of low pressure and excessive headspace-great stuff

I bought these with very high expectations and was not let down. The brass is already completely prepped including chamfering, reamed, and de-burred flash holes. And this is on top of already being weight sorted. Fot the money, you CAN NOT beat this stuff. Hopefully they will start making 6mmbr cases soon so that I can replace my Lapua brass.

This brass is fantastic. I found that it was ready to load right out of the box. I didn't need to do any prep work. I measured about 15 of the casings with my calipers and found them to be almost exactly the same. After five reloads, this brass is no worse for wear. I'm going to trim it before I reload a sixth time. Last session I shot one inch groups at my 100 yard range from a rest. This brass gives me confidence. Good stuff.

I rate it 5 stars, Ive read the reviews, I have to say I dont agree. I loaded them up with Federal mag primers, IMR 4831, Hornady 168 gr A-MAX bullets, resized the necks, and shot groups the size of a dime. ALL rounds were touching or through the same hole. I did notice the pressure to seat the primers wasnt the same with all rounds, but didnt find them loose at all. I would not hesitate to buy another box.

Consistent lengths and visibly bright out of the box. 5 of the 50 had moderate to severe indentations in the case mouths requiring the necks to be resized. Be EXTREMELY cautious during loading as a minimum load of IMR 4350 and Nosler 165 Partitions was showing excessive pressure signs (backed out primers.) Would not buy again as if you can't safely start at a minimum published load, I don't see the point as I value my fingers and eyes!

Unbelievably bright ...

Unbelievably bright polish, prepped and ready to load brass. A little pricey compared to R-P and others, but in my opinion for brass that gets reloaded many times it's well worth the money. Casual shooters may be better off with cheaper stuff and doing the work themselves, but if you're a busy guy it doesn't get easier and more consistent than this.

Although I have not actually loaded them yet, the quality of these cases is very plain to see. Although I can perform all the case-prep functions myself, I wanted weight sorted cases. I measured 10 at random and they varied by well under a single grain.

Have not fired this 50 rounds of brass yet. BUt I found in weighing all 50 rounds the greatest spread was only 1/2 grain. I trimmed them to .010 below max and squared primer pockets and gauged flash holes. I found this brass on a par with Lapua. Weight varies from 200.0 grains to 200.5 grains. This brass seems to be a little heavier than Remington, Winchester, or Federal.
