What can I say. Having read the previous post I was somewhat skeptical, however having just cleaned three of my guns with this product I couldn't ask for better.there's really nothing I can compare it to because the slide on my 1911 has never been better. In my Smith & Wesson revolver's the product seems to have lightened the trigger pull on single action, I don't have a trigger gauge so i'm not sure but it sure feels different, a lot smoother and a lot lighter. It removes more gunk that my previous products ever did. If you don't believe me and the other post just get a small 1/4 ounce application to try yourself. Received a sample bottle ...

Received a sample bottle about a month ago. I used it on my 9mm, 1911 and 38 snubbie. Used numerous others and stayed with one for 30 yrs. I will stick to this one. It makes cleaning much easier and my weapons seem easier to clean, eject and slide better than with my previous brand. I have read that troops had it sent to them in Afgan and Iran as it performed better in the sandy regions they were patrolling. This statement swayed me to try it as I am a former combat veteran.

This cleaner and lubricant performs excellent. It adheres very well to all the metal surfaces it is applied to and provides great lubrication properties. It seems to bond with the metal surfaces and clings to the finish even with repeated handling and use. I use it on both semi-automatic handguns and revolvers with superb corrosion protection in addition to the great lubrication characteristics. The cleaning qualities of Weapon Shield are superior and the more I use it the easier it is to clean my hand guns after range firing. After repeated applications it seems to prevent the firing residue from sticking to metal surfaces, including barrel and chamber bores. I have complete confidence that the nickeled, blued and color case hardened finishes on my most expensive revolvers are completely protected when I use this product to clean, lubricate and apply a finishing coating to all the external surfaces. In my years of shooting experience I have used over twenty different lubricants designed just for guns and now I only use Weapon Shield exclusively because of the positive lubrication experiences and full confidence in the protection qualities.

I have tried them all and Weapon Shield is the best CLP on the market. Cleans very quickly and a little drop goes a long way. It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and smells great! You want the best? This is it!

Excellent product! I use it on all my pistols - 1911's, Glock, CZ, HK, etc. Excellent as a cleaner. Leaves shiny thin layer of product, which makes it easier to clean next time. Hard to wipe off, completely, which is good. A little goes a long way, for that reason. Also means it lubricates, well, too. (I still use grease on the slide rails, though.) Best of all is the cinnamon smell! Mfr says it's also good for stainless steel. I now use it exclusively. Love it!

I started using Weapon Shield on my 1911's. Now I also use it on my service rifles. It's a good general-purpose Cleaner/Lubricant/Preservative. It's excellent as a lubricant. Since I use it on all my firearms, I recently began purchasing the 16 oz. bottles.

Having used most of the products that we've all seen on the shelf at the local gun shops, I can honestly say that this one works best for my firearms. As a lubricant, it stays where I want it and has functioned in weather from 15 to 95 degrees without a problem. Where I really appreciate it though, is in cleaning and oiling barrels and chambers. I used it on an older used and neglected barrel for a Colt Mustang that I got a great deal on (Powder Blast let me down) and it made it look like new. I buy the larger bottle to save on shipping and because I clean often. You won't be disappointed with Steel Shield.
