Product Information

This Wilson Combat 300 AAC Blackout Match Grade AR-15 Barrel is CNC-Machined to exacting tolerances from 416R Stainless Steel for superior accuracy and longevity. Each barrel's bore and M4 feed ramps are hand polished and pass a rigorous final inspection to ensure the quality of the product exceeds all expectations. The 300 Blackout cartridge gives shooters 30 caliber firepower in a compact, AR-15 sized envelope, and while it was originally designed and optimized for use with subsonic ammunition, supersonic loads are now offered that turn the Blackout into a viable hunting or defensive option as well. All that is needed to harness the enhanced performance of the 300 Blackout is a simple barrel swap; the bolt, carrier, magazine and all other components remain the same as those used in a traditional 223 Rem/5.56 NATO rifle.

The Wilson Match Barrel features the company's "Recon Tactical" contour that is neither too heavy for regular carry afield, nor so light that it becomes susceptible to potential accuracy loss during long strings of fire due to excessive heating. As a weight shaving measure and for additional surface area and stiffness, the barrel is fluted to the front and rear of the .750" gas block seat. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 for the addition of a flash hider, muzzle brake or sound suppressor, and is topped off with a precision muzzle crown as an added accuracy promoting enhancement. The Button Rifling is cut with a 1 in 8" right hand twist that is capable of stabilizing both heavy and lightweight 30 caliber projectiles. Includes a pre-installed barrel extension and locator pin.
