Just received this holster a few hours ago. I bought this primarily as a quick holster to use for around the house. It is now my favorite holster. Fits my railed Kimber SIS PERFECT. Great retention with the serpa and a fit that is just right, not enough to scratch my babies but no rattle. The Draw- FAST. I own a Raven Concealment, Nighthawk IWB leather, and so many other holsters and none of them work as well as this. If you have a 1911 YOU NEED THIS HOLSTER!! It rocks!

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS,IT WILL HELP OUT ALOT!!Have 2 or 3 of these for every pistol I own,they work great but I can only comment on the paddle,I have never used the belt attachment and I have alot of those sitting around(they do not come with the cheaper Blackhawk holsters only the paddle).A little piece of advise,on the paddle there is a hook that holds the holster tight to your pants(not the 2 hooks that are screwed on) it is very hard to get this holster off without undoing your pants or shorts,I shaved off the bottom paddle hook and its so easy to take off now,(grab the holster towards the bottom push down and pull away from you just alittle so the 2 hook screws are clear from your belt and pull off the holster) are the 2 hooks that are screws still grab the belt so it is more than secure. The paddle hook does nothing except become a pain in the azz.Dont be afraid to fine tune these holsters,I have mine so that I dont need to press the release button all the way down to unholster but is still very secure. I use blades and files on all of mine for just the right action. I take my firearm off 7-10 times a day and I have never had any problems at all.I know this is alot but I hope it helps.

The product description does not say it, but it will fit a 1911 with a short rail. I noticed someone at my club using one of these with a Kimber Warrior with a rail, so I purchased one for my Para Nite Tac and it is a great fit. Holsters for a railed 1911 are hard to find, especially at this price.

The holster holds the pistol very well. I like that I can change the position of how it sits on my hip. The down fall is that the gun is a little hard to get out of the holster in the beginning until you wear in the release button, then the gun pulls out smooth from the holster.

This is an excellent holster. It secured my 1911A1 perfectly. It was comfortable and distributed the weight much better than my pancake holster on my belt. It is light and easy to use with very little practice. The only drawback is if you have some love handles the gun can dig into your side if you are sitting a lot. Of course if I was using a smaller hand gun this might not be an issue. I also had this problem with the pancake holster. I was able to adjust it and make it comfortable enough to wear even when driving a car for several hours straight. The construction and materials seem durable enough that I do not expect to have to replace it for many, many years.
