Product Information

Since 1928, Prvi Partizan has been producing custom ammunition in Serbia for competition, indoor ranges and hunting. Full metal jacket loads are non-expanding rounds that were designed for target shooting. This ammunition is new product, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Important Note:
This ammunition is not intended to be fired in a Model 1889 Schmidt-Ruben rifle. This ammunition creates an unsafe pressure that the Model 1889 action was not designed to handle.

Very similar to the Swiss ...

Very similar to the Swiss GP-11 ammo except in accuracy. With Iron sights it will get you on target at 100 yards and still have enough energy to punch through a small Cotton wood tree. However, I have found that when trying to sight in a scope for 250 yard the groups were too unpredictable to satisfy me yet the brass that I used from this for reloading proved very successful.

Prvi, as a general rule, ...

Prvi, as a general rule, provides good ammunition at an affordable price. The Swiss 7.5X55 is no exception. Shoots groups almost as tight as the original Swiss GP-11, and for you reloaders, you can't ask for much more in a reloadable brass cartridge.

Just wanted to express a ...

Just wanted to express a safety concern about A below review.The model 1889 (model with the fixed magazine) is most emphatically NOT recommended for shooting with full power modern ammo such as this or the GP-11 surplus. The Swiss government stated that GP-11 should only be used in an 1889 under extreme emergency conditions. I don't know of any commercial ammo that's rated as OK for the 1889 -- appropriate loads would be downloaded significantly in comparison with the modern full power stuff (of course, using a powder that tolerates downloading well). Newer models including the 96/11, 1911 rifle & carbine, and K31 are quite safe for use with modern full-power ammo. All the Prvi ammo (and components!) I've examined and shot is beautiful stuff, with nice reloadable brass. Prvi has done a lot to make many types of milsurp weapons into shooters again, and not just wallhangers.

Works great in my K-31. 1" groups at 25 yds, might even be better for someone who knows what they're doing.
