The Woodman's Pal Brush Axe is a timeless design that has just as much utility now as it ever has. The Woodman's Pal Brush Axe features an 8" blade that is made from 1075 High Carbon Steel with a convexed cutting edge. The convex edge, sometimes called an "appleseed grind" is an excellent choice for a brush clearing implement. The convexed edge allows for the most steel being the cutting edge, which makes it better for high impact cutting implements like machetes.
The hook blade style of the Brush Axe is perfect for cutting vines and higher branches when pruning or clearing shooting lanes. Additionally, the Brush Axe adds a "tail" to the choil of the blade which acts as a guard to protect hands from just cut materials.
The American Hickory handle of the Brush Axe provides for plenty of reach and features a lanyard hole.
