When I moved from out west to Iowa, I found myself out of CAS and into modern muzzleloading. I also found myself sitting on a lot of leftover .430" 200 gr. hard cast bullets. This sabot was cheap enough to buy in large quantities and let me get a lot more range time just practicing offhand, kneeling, etc. shooting without wasting premium bullets on position practice. They load easily and group well enough, under 3" at 100 yards, though again I'm not shooting from a bench. They might be a good choice for hunting as well, but my experience with them is limited to shooting practice, not accuracy/load development. I can hit a 5-1/2" Caldwell target out to 150 yards every time I do my part. Very economical and usable for that purpose. (For hunting, I go back and re-zero with the pet load, using SST-ML bullets that come with their own sabots.) Though I can't speak to their full potential in terms of accuracy, they've met my limited expectations for field position practice quite well, and this plus the price makes it a 5-star deal for me.

Very good product, used in a 1:48 sidelock with 180-210 grain bullets and in an inline with 1:28 with 240grain bullets get good results with both. They do slide down the barrel easy when loading and I get good groups from either rifle. I do not shoot max loads and these seem to seal the gases better than some I used.
