When I got this knife I ...

When I got this knife I had mixed feelings about it, but it turned out this knife rocks. It would work great for survival and camping chores. The blade is super thick, mine came razor sharp, and the sharpener is okay. The handle is really grippe, the sheath is one of the better ones in my opinion and it came with pretty good fire steel. I hope that in future models they will come out with a longer bladed version, over all this is a great knife and I would recommend it to anybody who wants a good knife.

This knife delivers! with a built-in sharpener and fire steel this knife is a great companion in the field. Having the right survival gear is a must when I am off-roading out west here in Idaho, we get waaaay out in the sticks, and it can be very important be "able". Able to cut, chop, strike, pound, and stab! Bear you have backed up your training with a great knife, and I think I will be ordering your jungle machete next.

I like this knife. It ...

I like this knife. It appears to be well made. The blade was a little dull when I got it but the included knife sharpener put a decent edge on it where I could cut paper on a flat surface with a gentle swipe. The serated portion needed no sharpening. Good weight and size.haven't used the fire starter but after several strikes I did get sparks. I'm pleased for the money. And Midway's shipping is quick.
