I mounted this red dot on ...

I mounted this red dot on my S&W K-38 using a B-Square no drill base. I can shoot 1", 10 shot groups @ 50'. It works good in full sun and can be adjusted to low light conditions without the red dot becoming distorted. A very good red dot at a low price, plus 30mm rings.

Installed this on my ...

Installed this on my Mossberg 590A1, and works quite well. Red dot is crisp, adjustments are solid. Remember to use the included sunshade when mounting; the rings will not completely fit on the scope otherwise. And, get new scope rings, as the rings supplied are a bit anemic.

Very pleased with scope ...

Very pleased with scope overall. Dot is not perfect particularly at higher brightness settings (not a dot, more like a jagged star). This does not hurt function at all for me. Plenty bright enough for bright daylight use when on setting 10 or 11. Mounts feel strong, mine came with a glare/flare reducing front ext tube, which is nice. Battery life seems good so far seeing how I have not needed to replace battery yet.

I mounted this scope on a ...

I mounted this scope on a Ruger Super Redhawk about two years ago. I chose this scope because of recoil resistance. After many full load rounds the scope still functions perfectly. The dot size is perfect even shooting small targets at 50 yards. Wouldn't get a smaller tube than 30mm because it makes the sight picture too small.

I have had a Millett SP2 ...

I have had a Millett SP2 for about 3 years and have had zero problems. I have used this red dot on run and gun combat courses and have had absolutely no problem finding my targets fast with both eyes open. Use the threaded extended aluminum shade tube that screws on the front (it comes with it) on bright sunny days and you will have no problem with glare. I put mine on and never took it off. The mounts fit a standard Picatinny rail very well and are rock solid. The mounts use allen screws and come with the allen wrench. The see through lens caps could be better, but they work ok. I just bought 2 more SP2s this week to mount on new AR15s which will be used on the 2 gun (rifle/sidearm) combat course. Quality is better than other reasonably priced Red Dot sights I have used. While it is not the quality of an Aimpoint it doesn't cost an arm and a leg either. My SP2 has held zero just fine. I recommend this red dot for anyone wanting a reasonably priced red dot sight.

This is Millett's Compact ...

This is Millett's Compact Scope. It is the only red dot I have found that has a short enough center section to fit between the rings on a Ruger SBH Hunter. Slightly dim optics compared to Tasco's. Red dot is definitely a small 5 min and barely bright enough at its highest setting. Reasonable scope, but if a PDP2 would fit that is what I'd use.

Good quality sight for ...

Good quality sight for the money. Mine has been on a 12 gauge single shot and a t/c encore pistol chambered for .308.It has seen about 400 rounds with no problems. Good sight picture, good control of dot intensity. Mine does have a vertical red bar that appears faintly sometimes depending on ambient lighting. Lens covers may be the worst I have seen for some time. Don't let the words "an American company" on the Millett website make you think this is made by Americans. mine says made in China on it. Dot size on box says 5 moa. I also have an Aimpoint that claims a 3 moa dot. I spent much time comparing dot size and quality and they are nearly identical, except that the aimpoint was 300 dollars more. Like I said at the begining, for the money this is a nice sight that appears to be indestructible in the right hands.
