I should have read the reviews before ordering, it could have saved me a smashed finger, bloody knuckle and some frustration. First time I use the CAR wrench the little pin broke off under very little torque. Thought no big deal, I still got a good deal on it. The next day I tried to use it on the barrel nut and found that the pins were out of alignment and it wouldnt work. Today I was able to use it to take off my flash hider but no longer see it as a good deal.

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this. Simply put this thing is JUNK. First use broke out on pin. I was only putting it on by hand did not even get it snug! My first bad item with Midway. I have never had a item this "cheap" come from them before. Honestly I do not understand why they sell this item. In short DO NOT BUY THIS!! It is the worst quality I have ever seen. You have been warned. PS to Midway You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling this junk. I have spent a lot of money with you and up till now have been very happy with the quality of the items I have bought. This item makes you guys look real bad. Low end is one thing this "tool" is simply junk.

Right out of the packaging, one of the pegs for the barrel nut fell out. Pass this one up unless you have patience and a welder.

The CAR wrench part broke ...

The CAR wrench part broke the first time I tried to use it. All three pins have now come out of their holes and have to be put back into place before use. The stud pattern lined up perfectly for my YHM rail, but nowhere near close for my Larue rail. I had to just use one or two of the studs instead. Only reason it gets a 3 star is because it does work just not that great. Save your money and get a better wrench.

3 pins for the barrel nut ...

3 pins for the barrel nut on mine were far enough out of alignment the center pin broke. Once that was out of the way the tool started working better, unless of course you count the fact that there's no 1/2" slot for the torque wrench. It would've gotten 1 star, but I was able to make it work via 'calculated arm'. Next stop for this little guy is the place I put the rest of the tools that function on the lowest level possible, the trash.

Built what appeared to be bulletproof but when I used the CAR wrench part, the little pin broke in 3 pieces. I will probably use welding rod to replace it. It even had a space for my 45's barrel bushing. Other than it breaking it looks as if it will, or should last a while, considering no more pins break.

I had the exact same problem. I replaced it with one of the many Leupold torx wrenches with a round body that come with the scope. I will see how the other 3 last. Buy the better one if you have the choice!!! Rod

I gave it a chance but it's junk. Broke a pin for the bar nut and another for the buffer tube, on the first use. Save the headache and money, buy something else.
