Product Information

This is high quality ammunition designed for the highest level of performance and consistency. This ammunition is created by matching top quality hunting bullets with select powders, primers and brass cases.

This load features the Trophy Bonded Tip bullet. Like most tipped bullets, the tip provides for more aerodynamics in flight which increases accuracy and performance. It features excellent weight retention as well as improved ballistic coefficients. Both the projectile and brass are nickel plated for protection against corrosion and easier extraction. Ideal on medium sized game like mule deer or whitetails. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable cases.

Great bullet on large game

I used the trophy bonded bear claw in 165 grain until they discontinued it, and then switched to this bullet (the trophy bonded tip). It shoots flatter than the original, but otherwise the performance is the same. This is by far the best bullet federal has ever produced. I have yet to have a deer go more than 20 yards when hit with this round, rarely do they go further than the ground under them. This bullet opens fast and penetrates deep. You get nice exit wounds, lots of shock, and most importantly a clean and efficient kill.

I shoot this out of a 30-06, but would highly reccomend it in almost any caliber. The only round that I use in my 30-06.

This Ammo shot the best of anything else I have tried. I shot at least a box of four different brands of bullets in my Marlin and this did the best. I sighted in my scope at 25yds first (because I had accidentally dropped my rifle)and then at 100yds. There was so little difference that I didn't bother re-adjusting my scope and it shot a sub-MOA group at 100yds. For my money this is the bullet to get for deer hunting. I believe that it shoots flatter than even Federal says it does. Good Stuff!
