Product Information

For protecting a valuable select-fire receiver, or even a semi-auto receiver that has seen a high volume of fire, these non-rotating trigger and hammer pins are a must. Anti-creep retainers keep the pins from constantly rotating during extended firing sessions and weakening the receiver walls. The 0.1555" diameter option is for use with Standard Small Pin receivers with enlarged hammer and trigger pin holes. Modification II pins retain the popular original "dogbone" look of Generation I pins, with added strength for longevity. Not compatible with Jewell match triggers.

I purchased both this set ...

I purchased both this set and the .154" set. The stock pins on my S&W like-new lower measured .154". The KNS .154 set was a hair loose and a bit long sticking out of the receiver (with a slight gap). The .1555" were very snug-i tapped them in with my finger tip, they were also shorter than the KNS .154 pins making them more cosmetically appealing as the setup is almost perfectly flush with the outside of the receiver.

I purchased three KNS Hammer and Trigger Pin 2nd Generation, 2nd Modification Non Rotating AR-15 Small Pin Oversize .1555" Stainless Steel sets to replace the KNS Hammer and Trigger Pin 2nd Generation Non Rotating AR-15 Small Pin Oversize .1555" Stainless Steel sets on three of my AR-15s. I also purchased two KNS Hammer and Trigger Pin 2nd Generation, 2nd Modification Non Rotating AR-15 Small Pin Oversize .154" Stainless Steel sets and will be purchasing two more. I am now using these pins in all of my builds. Needless to say, they are great! And yes, while on active duty with the U.S. Army, I did have a pin begin walking its way out of the lower receiver of my M16 rifle. Fortunately, it was during daylight hours, I noticed the problem and was able to take correct action to fix it.

The size of the pins was ...

The size of the pins was perfect, they come with a conical end that screws into the end of the pin to aid in installation. It required no tools to install and the fit was excellent. The lower looks awesome with the pins installed and there's no slop in the FCG. I would definitely purchase these again!
