The big cons first: the comments about the objective lens are spot on, it is about 25mm realistically. I would not mount it in a "far forward" position on a handguard rail system or something. Also, the robust body of the scope puts a lot of "black" around the smallish objective lens if you shoot with both eyes open. And it is heavy.The pros: it is a very solidly built unit (a trade off for the weight). The adjustments and reticle brightness switches have very positive clicks, and when I tested the scope adjustments "around the world", it repeated back to zero nicely. The reticle in mine is very clear when the brightness is adjusted properly to ambient light, and I've found the green reticle to be useful for low light (once again, if adjusted properly to ambient light).All in all I am pleased with it for the price, and would probably give it "3 1/2 stars" if that were allowed. A true 32mm objective lens would help it immensely.

This scope is by far the best you can buy for the money! I first had it mounted on my ar-15 and it handled the recoil just fine. decided to use it on a different build and put it on a ruger 10/22. This scope out performs the rifle!! I read reviews about the limited field of view, I never experienced an issue with that. 200 rounds out of the ar it held zero, 525 rounds out of the ruger, it held zero. Bushnell has always made a great product, so I was not surprised when this held the standard.

This thing is solid, maybe 1,500 rds through my M4 (Colt 5.56mm) and another 600 through a MForgery (.22LR) and this thing still rocks. For the price it cannot be beat. For range fun, this works. I have an EO and an Aimpoint, and this is just as much fun for a lot less money. I would not trust my life with it, but I would my EO (and in a pinch my Aimpoint). That said, I am buying a second to put on a 1022 I am building. Happy Shooting!

When I first got this I was like WOW it does look like and acog a little bit. I have had this for a year and a half now and only used it like 3 times. I like the T reticle but the green does not show good during the day even on a high setting and the red is a little hard to see on a sunny day. I used it on the 25 yard with my Ruger SR .22 and worked great, then I took it to the 50 yard and worked OK a little bit, then I took it to the 100 yard with the M&P 15 .223 and couldn't hit the target at all. I would not recommend this item. Save your money for a better scope maybe an EOTech.

Had mine for 2 years now. Have over 1000 rds. thru my xm type car. Had no issues so far. Co-witness with front sight is excellent. (flat top receiver). Need another soon for my 300AAC Blackout.

I bought this sight mainly because it was 10X less expensive as an ACOG. It sits on my AR flattop without the use of a riser. Right in front of my MAYTECH rear flip sight. I used it in several matches with targets ranging from 25 to 400 meters. I had no problem acquiring my target and hitting it, with a bit of Kentucky windage at the longer ranges. Battery life is real good, although I carry spares just in case. I have flip front and rear sights and they work really well in case the optics go down. I can see the sights clearly through the optic. I have recommended this sight to a lot of people and they were convinced after they fired my rifle with this optic.

Could not be happier with this sight. I bought it mostly for CQB shooting but as I found out this past weekend it's more than accurate at long range. I hit 6 out of 6 on a 14"steel plate at 400 yards with this scope on my AR-15... Would not hesitate to purchase again.

I have had this red dot ...

I have had this red dot for over a year mounted on the rail of a Colt Umarex M4 - 22. With no magnification, this is the perfect sight for the 22 caliber. Like many others have commented on, the T dot can tilt a slight amount to the left. Please note, I said "can". I found that placement on the rail can cause this or eliminate it. For me, pushing the scope all the way forward on the flattop, eliminates the tilting or canting. I have never mounted on top of a .223/5.56 because there is no magnification. For the little 22 caliber, it's a perfect fit, and properly positioned, it co-witnesses perfectly with your front sight. Until I played with it and found that moving the sight all the way forward on the rail eliminated the tilt of the T dot so many others have mentioned, I simply did not like the sight, and contemplated selling it on eBay. Since moving it all the way forward, I am a happy camper now, and will keep the sight. The green at night or in low light conditions is perfect and of course, the red during the day is perfect. Looks great sitting on top of my Colt 22, and makes it look a little bossy, which I like. I too have noticed a couple of times the reticle flickering after adjusting the light level, but has worked flawlessly other than the occasional flicker taking place immediately after turning the adjustment knob. Would I buy this red dot again, probably not, but only because my aging eyes are now needing some magnification, but this one still works fine given the range of the 22, even with my eyes. One final thought, the 3 MOA dot does not cover the target up like the 5 MOA dot does.

It sure looked cool when I opened the box. After that it went rapidly down hill. I mounted this on a Remington 870 for turkey hunting and turkey shoots. With 1-1/8 oz light game loads the recoil blows the battery cover off and leaves the battery and cover in the weeds. I'm typing this while on my second hour of being on hold with customer service. I've tried using this on moving game and found that the design of the tube presents too much junk in the field of view to get a good sight picture with both eyes open. I have a 10 year old Tasco 30mm plain tube that has worked much better at 1/3 the price.

I've had this sight mounted on my flattop AR carbine for a while. It's of good quality despite its relatively low price. The integral base is nice and solid. Adjustments are positive and repeatable. The reticle is clear at appropriate power settings, and I like the T-shape design. Mounted at the front of my receiver rail, the sight left just enough room for a Magpul MBUS. While it does come with rubber lens protectors, they are tension-fit only and are easily lost once they inevitably fall off. The two color reticle is nice, but I'd prefer a sight with one color and more brightness. Shooting against a snow covered berm is nearly impossible. The glass, while clear and distortion free, is a bit dim because of the necessary lens coatings. It's not the darkest tinting I've seen in a red dot, but it's more noticable than the comparable Vortex StrikeFire. It's a good value, both rugged and clear, but there are other, better values in the same range.
