This ammunition is a ...

This ammunition is a brand I use often in other calibers so I thought I would give it a try in 38 Super.Well I'm glad I only bought two boxes. It causes jams due to overpressure. About every third round the extractor would slip off the case rim. The brass was pretty well stuck. After the shooting session I measured the brass as well as checking the primers. There were obvious signs of overpressure from excess case expansion as well as a few primers with penetration. Now to be fair a pistol with barrel dimensions allowing a bit more space it might work but I imagine the cases would expand even more. I'll stay with the Fiocchi ammunition which is not a +P loading and works extremely well.

A lot of people don't ...

A lot of people don't realize that Aguila is Remington's Mexico ammo plant - Mexico's ONLY ammo provider to their military. Primo reliability, very clean with little residue, cycles flawlessly with very, very flat shooting from my Taurus PT1911 .38 Super. Have shot 1000's of rounds in 9mm, .38 Super and .45 ACP and have not had a bad round in the bunch. Would choose over most brands any day.

I recently purchased 500 rnds of this. This is good 38 super ammo! I fired through a few boxes, no fouling or jams. This also works your action, hot stuff! Maybe the people before me had a bad lot of ammo, but I would recommend this!

Shoots well from my ...

Shoots well from my pistol, Colt 1911 Super. I have fired many of these rounds with jams or leaving the gun extremely dirty afterwards.

This ammo was terrible. ...

This ammo was terrible. For some reason I couldn't shoot more than 3-5 rounds without a jam. It was super dirty and I believe it was causing the jams. After having two or more jams per magazine I switched to another brand (did a quick swabbing of the barrel) and the pistol functioned flawlessly. When I loaded the Aguila it started to jam every 3-5 rounds. Cheap ammo and you get what you pay for.
