Product Information

The Aimpoint Micro H1 Red Dot sight is engineered to provide the performance of a full size Aimpoint optic in the smallest package possible. Weighing a mere 3.7 oz, this sight will add virtually no bulk to a rifle, shotgun or handgun and can even be piggybacked onto larger magnifying optics. It features a 4 MOA aiming dot, 13 brightness settings, integral Weaver-style base for attachment to any compatible rail and parallax-free operation. Powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery, the Aimpoint Micro will work for up to 50,000 hours (over 5 years) before running out of power.

This is one of the best red dot sights you can buy. It is extremely rugged and very precise. It is small enough for any rifle and almost any pistol. So long as you want a simple dot reticle (as opposed to, for example, the EOTech Circle-Dot reticle) you cannot do better than this Aimpoint. I am using it on a Ruger Mark III pistol and it is superb. This unit is worth the money. If size is not a factor a good unit to compare it to is the EOTech XPS2-0.

Excellent product which was a bit loose on the mount and it required me to bed the Weaver in the Ultimak mount on my AK-74 (I bed all my scopes anyway with a light coat of high temp epoxy at bedding points while greasing the rifle mount to remove if needed) most mounts do NOT fit like a glove and may not stand up to abuse unless you properly bed them anyway...with a 6 o'clock 300 yard battle zero as AK-74 is designed to use; it hits exactly where it should at all ranges out to 300 meters. Using Russian ammo the weapon groups at about 2-4" high at 50 meters and proper groups for MOA out to 300 meters using mil spec ammo. Never misses if I do my part. Rapid fire with Ultimak means heat but aimpoint keeps on keeping on and mirage is not a problem even in summer sun/heat using change in brightness.

Great red dot sight. Pick it over the competition due to it small size and light weight. Easy to acquire target. Reliable source informed me that it's the new trend for SWAT and SOCOM. Really enjoyed shooting with it on my HK-USC. Two thumbs up!

I've owned one of these for about a year now. I mounted it on an Ultimak rail on an AK rifle. This optic is outstanding. Rugged, easy to use.

Product will not tighten ...

Product will not tighten down on a weaver rail--tried it on three rails and a couple picatinny rails and the mounting lug contacts the mount before closing on the rails. Shims do work but should not be needed on a product this expensive. Have contacted Aimpoint but no response, another two weeks then back to MidwayUSA!

The unit is excellent. The red dot is round and sharp, the sights adjustment, the micro clicks are just perfect. The only thing you got to be careful of is that the weaver mount is aluminum. If it gets a little over tightened it will strip the threads, should be steel, I had to use lock tight on the bolt to prevent back up under recoil.
