Product Information

AccuBond represents the most advanced bonded core bullet technology to date. Through a proprietary bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond marries Nosler's traditional copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core. The result is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep, won't cause extensive barrel fouling, and will retain 60-70% of its weight. The polymer tip helps protect against deformation while initiating expansion upon impact. This is not loaded ammunition.

I went on a Oryx hunt in the Great Karoo in South Africa. I used this bullet in my Howa 375 Ruger, loaded to 2850 fps. I hit the Oryx about 10 inches behind the front leg at a distance of 180 yds. My friend saw, what he described as a pink mist behind the buck. It went down after 5 yds! This bullet/calibre combination is awsome! I will never use any other bullet in this rifle. Its is immensley strong with a very good BC. Regards Louis

I used this bullet to take a Maine bull moose at 200 yrds. The handload was of IMR 4064 in WW cases. The bullet entered the near shoulder breaking it and the moose's neck. The recovered bullet was in one piece an weight 162.2 grains. Nice!

I used the 260 AccuBond on my British Columbia hunt this fall. I am shooting it out of a 26" barrel .375 RUM at 3,060 fps. it is very accurate 3/4" @ 100 yds. I shot a small bull moose thru the shoulders at 200 yards and the bull was spun around by the hit and toppled over. the AB went clean thru both shoulders and did extensive damage. the exit hole on the offside was slightly larger than bullet diameter. I was very impressed. the approx. weight was 700 lbs on my moose. I also took a 5 1/2' black bear at 60 yards coming into my predator call. I shot him with a frontal chest shot and crumpled him. we found the bullet under the hide at the left hip. it was a classic mushroom and although it did lose the lead core, weight retention is very high at 180 grains. I will use this bullet on my grizzly hunt and my next moose hunt. great bullet, and very affordable.

Purchased for my 375 Ruger (African). Produced outstanding accuracy using Varget powder. Have yet to test terminal performance- however on North American game just a 3/8 thru and thru is generally enough.

I use this bullet as my main load out of a 26" custom glass stocked 375 Rem ultra mag. a max charge of h-4831 has it flying at 3,060 fps. last dpring I took a very nice 6'1" 300 lb Montana black bear at 80 yards. the first hit was a quartering to me shot, it locked him up and I hit him again broadside. that hit dumped him. the exit holes were an inch and the damage was extensive. this is a very accurate bullet as well, yielding 3/4" groups at 100 yards. I would be reluctant to use this bullet on any of the big 5 but I believe it is stellar for all but the badest big game

At measured velocities of 2650-2750 fps from my .375 Ruger, this is the most accurate 375 bullet that I have loaded. Numerous groups inside of 1/2" at 100yds. Expansion and wound cavity up close are dramatic, but the jacket doesn't separate. Expect less penetration than Partitions at impact velocities over 2500 fps due to large expanded diameter. (Up to 0.8 inch, 160 grain retained - 2700 fps)

In Namibia, I used this bullet in a Ruger 375 H&H loaded with a lot of W760 and 215M primers giving a MV of 2730 FPS. The Ruger groups this load at about 1 1/4" out of the box using a Leupold VX-III, 1.5-5 scope. I took a very big (900 pound) Burchell's zebra. The stallion spotted me at just over 200 yards and stood up at a slight angle. Before he could run, I put a shot just to the right of center chest. He went down in a heap -- all four hooves in the air. It was over. The bullet worked perfectly, passing just above the heart jelling aorta and both lungs. It went through the diaphragm into the gut but did not exit. Zebra, especially big ones, are hard to kill; my PH said he had never seen better performance than that shot. We also shot three other zebra with smaller rifles -- so, I know one does not really need the 375. However, none of the others died so quickly. When sighted in at 250 yards, this is a good combination for the bigger plains game (zebra, kudu, gnu, eland, oryx, waterbok, etc.). You may not need it but if you can shoot the 375, it will work wonders out to 300 yards.

A group of us just got back from South Africa hunting a variety of plains game and the performance of this bullet was as good as it gets. Out of custom Encore handguns the 260 gr. AccuBonds were at 2300fps and the rifles about 2750fps. In most cases they were recovered just under the off side hide with the handguns and mostly pass thru's with the extra velocity from the rifles. The ones that were recovered were perfect mushrooms and no failures were noted. This is my new bullet of choice now for most of the calibers I shoot, which are many. Woody

I used this bullet on a moose hunt in British Columbia. It was loaded over IMR 4064, for a (book) velocity of about 2700 fps and energy of about 4200 foot-lb. The moose was a measured 170 yards away. The bullet penetrated high on the 5th or 6th rib, with rib or bullet fragments penetrating both lungs. The rib deflected the bullet slightly, shattering the spine. The bull, about 600 pounds field dressed, was turned 90 degrees by the impact, and dropped where it stood, with little meat damage. The bullet was not recovered.The rifle was a Winchester Model 70 Safari Express. Range testing of handloads gave about 1 1/2 moa at 100 yards.This was my first moose hunt, and I was very impressed with the performance.
