Ammo for Whitetail hunt

Been purchasing this ammo for my son. I purchased a .243 youth model for him to use on a Texas Whitetail hunt for this year, and was using this ammo to break in the new rifle. The ammo shot very well thru his rifle, and he even used it on our hunt. He was successful taking down a nice buck at 150yrds.

I would not consider myself a "supreme" marksmen with a rifle, but I was shooting 5 hour energy bottles at 250 yards with this ammuniton...so make your own conclusions

This round was easy to zero at 100 yards. I used the 100 grain round shooting from a Remington 700 ADL. First kill I got with this round was from 95 meters, the deer ran 20 meters before going down. 2nd deer I killed was from about 40 meters and the round penetrated the shoulder blade to hit the heart, deer dropped right away. Inexpensive round that works great on SC whitetails...

I'm a self-proclaimed ammo snob, very picky about getting just the "right" ammo for hunting. Bought some of this just for "cheap ammo", teaching some kids to shoot -- and I was AMAZED at the accuracy of this ammo! The accuracy and consistency of this ammo easily beat the premium ammo out of two of my rifles (Browning ABolt .243 and Savage .243). Shot four pronghorns last year -- each with a single shot. Meat damage was minimal. All were pass through shots -- no bullet found.

Love this ammo, I use it in my DPMS AR .243.. mainly hunt feral boar and deer here very consistent and accurate.. Highly recommend.. only complaint is rifle is dirty after a few boxes.. I clean the rifle after I get done shooting so for me it is no big deal.. Accuracy has been under an inch 5 shot group @ 100 yards so I really can't complain..

Greatest ammo on the market. I shot my first deer with this, went straight through the heart at about 90 yds. Dropped it right there. Its also very cheap as well. I went to the range, and oh my god. I put 3 shots in group that could be covered with a quarter at 100 yds. Awesome, just plain awesome

Brand new T/C pro-hunter in 243 Win. Sighting in trip to the range couldn't have been better. The 100gr Sierra is a great load. I was able to place 7 shot group under 3/4 of an inch. Best I've ever done.

For the measly $10 you ...

For the measly $10 you spend for these bullets, they give a lot in return. In my NEF/H&R Handi rifle, after fouling shots, I get average of under 1" at 100yards. With 3/4 being well in the normal. Same goes for my Remington 700BDL. If I'm not mistaken these are loaded with Speer SP bullets. I haven't run them in a chrony but from all that I have seen of their performance they are reliable and pretty consistent. I look forward to using them this season on Whitetails, as I know they won't disappoint in the accuracy department. At this price, just give them a try. Good Load.

So much for premium ammo! This Power Shok 243 ammo came through for me again this year! It has always been tremendously accurate, inherently so in any 243, is affordable to boot, and gained another quick, 1 shot kill on a Washington 3x3 whitetail. Due to deer quartering away, I placed the round immediately behind the near side rib cage. It then traveled the length of the body, hitting everything except the stomach, and exited behind the opposite front leg. Buck bounded 30 yards before piling up. An excellent, affordable ammo choice for common whitetail.
