Comments about ISMI Recoil Spring 1911 Commander 18 lb Chrome Silicon:

Bought both an 18 and 20 lb. recoil spring for my 10mm Commander Classic. They worked better than expected. ISMI springs were actually recommended by the manufacturer of the firearm and Midway had the best price.
One issue, there is no easy way to identify the spings once they are out of the package.
Would be great if they were color-coded or marked.

Incredible spring. Was a little worried after I compared it to the factory spring as it was much longer than the factory spring. However the action is much smoother. Love it, ISMI from now on.
