Have used all the Hoppe's solvents/bore cleaners. This obviously is a different fomulation. The cleaning aspect is superior to thier other products. I used a new brass brush to dip right into the bottle and reciprocated a few times into the bore followed by a dry cotton patch. Impressive. Removed additional fowling on an assumed clean bore.

After using quite a number of other Bore Cleaners and original #9 included, I found that this seems to clean with less effort. It also leaves a very small oily residue that is much thinner than other lubes. Think of a small amount of sewing machine oil that one tiny drop seems to provide enough lube for the entire slide.One thing that I would change or add to the product is a smaller plastic bottle size with a squeeze applicator. The large opening of the container forces you to use more than is really needed.

Great product, it dries quickly leaving no residue and does not have the oily film of regular hoppes 9. I use it to clean all of my semi autos and wouldn't use anything else.
