These Powder Tubes are the easiest way to keep your powder ready while in the field. These tubes hold up to 120 grains of powder in each tube and have a volumetric measurement on the side that will indicate how much powder you have in the tube. These tubes are the fastest way to reload your blackpowder rifle and come in a pack of 6 so you can always be prepared while in the field or at the range.

These tubes work perfect. The lid fits tightly, but is easily removed. They are just the right size and are constructed of heavy duty plastic. They're not soft or flimsy. Also, they are the lowest priced tubes on the market and are a better design than the others.

I also used a digital scale to measure loads using blackhorn powder. The markings on the tube appear to be way off. After weighing out a 120 gn load it wouldnt even fit in the tube. What showed as a 120 gn load in the tube weighed 114 gns on the scale. Other than that they appear to be durable and watertight.

I've found some irregularities from one vial to the next concerning the accuracy of the volumetric markings. However, the difference is not enough to equal a "hunting accuracy" problem. Still, I use a bench top smokeless powder measure and a digital scale to measure my loads, so the other role - at which this vial excels - is purely as a storage device and loading tool. The lid is easy to manage even in the cold, and it closes very tightly. I put some kosher salt inside of one, taped it to an ingot of lead and put it in a coffee can full of water. The next morning, the salt wasn't even starting to clump up. I can certainly trust my powder charges to endure any conditions I can, stored in these tubes. They fit inside my magnum rifle cartridge boxes, as well as in the elastic magnum rifle cartridge loops on my butt stock cheek pad pouch. This is now the only way I carry my charges in the field. Sure, it's low-tech, but the quality is good and I hate guessing whether anything else will keep my powder dry - so I won't.

I Have not used them yet, but they look like they will work fine . I had been using 35mm film cases for years because you could squeeze the end of the container and funnel the powder down the barell. The ends of the tube are a lot stiffer to squeeze but with practice they will work fine. Also they look good and you know what is in the tube because it is clear. And with measurements on the side I can tell how much of a charge you have. Good to know because I use a heavy charge and my friends young son uses a youth load, and I don't want to mix them up. Ill probally buy more.

So far these tubes have served the purpose I bought them for and that is to hold black powder loads. I liked them because they are cheap and durable. You can get a package of 6 for around the same price that you would pay for less of other blackpowder speed loaders. I intend on using them for holding speed loads.They are able to hold three 777 pellets and one 250 grain Barnes Saboted bullet. Nothing fancy just simple and easy to use.
