The Water Filter Replacement Cartridge for the Katadyn Vario replaces the Glassfiber filter on the Vario which removes waterborne bacteria and cysts from the drinking water. This element should be replaces after 500 gallons of water filtration. Replace this filter regularly to keep you water free of bacteria and safe to drink.
