I bought this assembly a ...

I bought this assembly a couple years ago for a superlight build and have put approximately 950 rounds through it without a hiccup using mostly Russian steel cased fodder. Bear in mind that although this does not come with M4 style feed ramps and you will need to find a matching receiver without M4 cuts. Mine was also lacking the barrel nut so I had to remove the FSB to install it.

Barrel is great. But... ...

Barrel is great. But... this barrel did NOT come with the M-4 feed ramps. I did not see this important fact in the product information. Make sure you order the correct upper receiver to match this barrel extension.

The match AR is too heavy ...

The match AR is too heavy for comfort other than being prone. I purchased this barrel so I could have an AR for my wife. I took it to an instructional course and put 500rds through it in three hours time. I have a carry handle sight and I had to go 14 clicks to the right on the windage at 25yds for a zero. The barrel was very easy for the initial break in and it has not had any problems. Very light and does not feel like a burden to carry around your neck.

I have never dumped whole ...

I have never dumped whole magazines at a time, so I can't comment on it's accuracy in the red hot mode, but it is very accurate with 55grFMJ at a reasonable rate of fire. Shoots as accurately as a lot of heavy SS bull barrels.
