I really like this ...

I really like this product. It seems kind of expensive, but what isn't !! I have been putting similar safeties on all my full size 5" 1911's so I thought why not?

This extended safety ...

This extended safety lever for the Colt Government .380 is a very handy addition for those who intend to use the firearm in a defensive situation. It makes cocked-and-locked carry of this little auto more practical since the safety is easier to engage or disengage than the factory lever.I do have a couple of minor reservations, but neither are serious enough to prevent me from using the extended safety. The first is that the finish on this aftermarket part does not match my blued Colt Pocketlite. It's obvious to me, but not that big a deal. Also, the original safety lever had a retaining clip to keep it in place; the replacement lever does not. Though the C&S safety seems to be in no danger of coming off the frame, the fit is noticeably different than that of the factory part. It is still perfectly functional, however - down means go, up means no-go.One more minor annoyance is that the Colt no longer fits in my favorite holster; the safety is just a hair too big for the thumb snap to wrap around properly now. If you've got an open top holster or some other way of carrying that isn't so form-fitted, you should be fine.All in all, the C&S extended safety is worth the asking price. I still have mine installed, and it'll stay that way as long as the Colt is my carry gun.
