This book may be small, ...

This book may be small, but it tells you all you need to know to build an AR. I had never even handled an AR before and I built one using this books step by step directions. I only found one real typo, the book incorrectly tells you to put the disconnector spring in upside down. Other than that, good book if you want to build your own.

Duncan Long - part time high school teacher / part time solder for hire,(this should tell you a lot.) Most of what you see here is hear say or rehashed from some real source. and this is good compared to his other works.This rating should be a zero but Midway wants him to have at least one star.

I was dissappointed with the book. Not much to it. Maybe all I need. Looks like a $10 book to me
