One great scope for my ...

One great scope for my trainer rifle. I have it mounted on a savage mark 2 fv-sr...I usually go with a mildot but reading other reviews and the no answer from Bushnell did not want to get a scope that was not a true mildot. The glass is great. turrets hold true, shooting out to 200 yards with cci velocitor, dial it in and send it. regular sized potatoes blown to bits...great scope for a great rifle.

What a great scope. You ...

What a great scope. You can't beat it for the money, GREAT SCOPE. I have mine on a ruger 10-22 with tactical stock. I think Im going to put another one on my 243. I have another Bushnell scope [fixed] Very clear, tough and has held zero for years. Take it out shooting all the time. The butler creek flip-open scope covers close nice and snug. Just remember the fast focus eyepiece is under the flip up cover. Which works great. I bought the weaver 1" see thru rings. 40 mm is too big. Would need 30mm to see thru it. only about a 1/4 inch shows. The fast finger adjustments work great, very easy to sight in. I've been shopping Midway for almost a year now and everything they have sent has been in great working order and shipped when they say its going to ship. Very happy with Midway and this scope.

These scopes are an ...

These scopes are an excellent value. It compares well to my Leupold vari-X II 3-9 x 40. Just as bright, just as clear, a bit more flare at the edge. Always look at field of view if you hunt in PA woods; notice that for the price you get a generous field of view. I have a CZ 22 with this scope that I've used to shoot squirrels in the head at 50 yards, easily holding one inch. A second is on a 308 for deer, where it has served well. Look hard; you'll be hard pressed to do better for the money.

I've used Bushnell Trophy ...

I've used Bushnell Trophy 3x9x40 scopes on several deer rifles over the span of 15+ years. The only one I've ever had to replace was one that was run over by an ATV......go figure. Clarity compares to other more expensive brands in side by side deer camp comparisons. I've never had one fog up or otherwise become unserviceable in the field. My latest purchase is to replace an aging Tasco variable that gave up the ghost. I don't see a reason to buy any other scope for general big game hunting.
