Needs better description

I ordered this hand guard because it is US made, under the impression that it was a drop in replacement. Before delivery a I watched a You Tube video of a gentleman installing one. After watching the video I saw it is NOT a drop in replacement as described, you have to use screws to make it secure holding it securely to the forward ring. Now this might not be an issue with most, but I was looking for a DROP IN replacement.
I sent it back and got the Yankee Hill. My disappoint isn't with UTG, it is with Midway. I would think a better description of the product, and installation procedures would be better. I hope this helps, and stay safe.

I have this handguard mounted on my M4. I have no experience with more costly units but this one is rock solid and does not move. I have a tactical light, vertical foregrip, red dot sight, sling mounts and more that I have attached without noise, movement or failure. The Ergo low profile ladders compliment the look and feel. I have been 100 % satisfied and would purchase again.

This rail is awsome don't let the price fool you if you are looking for a 7" rail that locks up tight and is a really awesome color green (dark) and at 9oz it's really not that heavy at all some of my buddies laughed at first untill they saw it two of them ordered it.

Fits well and had no slop when tightened down. I haven't tried with optic yet but, gives a stable platform for a fwd handgrip. US made for a good price.

Great product. These are the rails you want. Well made, high quality, and priced right. The cost of modifying an AR can quickly cost more than simply buying a new AR with the features you want. After hours of evaluating products I went with these and have not been sorry. I've bought two of these rail and installed them on two CAR-15's. Additionally, I've bought a number of UTG products and they have all been super!

I have two of these mounted on Duty AR's They have passed the rigors of SWAT use/Testing and are of the same quality as the ones that cost twice as much. Solid mount does NOT move. Don't let the price fool you. Mounted on a Colt and Bushmaster and fits all Carbines perfectly.
