Product Information

These grips are made of soft rubber with a cobblestone (stippled) surface for good grip control. Black.

Please note: Conversion grips convert a round butt frame to a square butt feel or vice versa.

Haven't had the chance to fire the revolver since putting these grips on, but they do what I wanted them to do. Unckle Auther has visited my hands and the grips get my middle finger out from behind the trigger guard so I will be able to fire my 357 mag without any pain.

These grips are awesome. I have some on my Taurus 455 45 ACP tracker. They look and feel great, although I agree with another reviewer that they do little to dampen the felt recoil. I am looking to get a set for my 617 now but no dice they are backordered, bummer.

Best set of aftermarket grips that I have ever purchased! These make my 425 Ti Tracker much more "pointable", i.e. when I brought the gun up to a target with the stock grips I was generally aiming high and had to mentally bring the muzzle down. With the Hogue grips I am right on without any effort. Also much more comfortable for me, although the recoil is about the same. I plan on getting a set for my 415 also.

Purchased these grips for a model 617 revolver (tracker framed snubbie). Upsides to these are that the grip nicely fills the hand. The grips do a nice job absorbing recoil as compared to the stock grips (smaller Taurus finger style grips), though not as soft as the rubber grips. Finally, they have a nice hand filling size that make target shooting with the single action pull (with the trigger already drawn toward the grip) a much more rewarding experience as compared to the thin stock grips that always seem to cause some horizontal wandering of the sight picture.The downsides to this grip are that it draws your hand even further back on the revolver. For someone with smaller hands the trigger is out almost to your finger tip (where cold hands might just slip off). I was hoping that it would draw the trigger closer to my first knuckle and make the gun easier to draw. The second downside for me is that it adds at least a good half inch to the overall height of the gun (not good for carrying the model 617 which was already on the margins of discreet carry). Finally, the grip is just a little bit difficult to install just right the first time, and I found myself having to remove and install it a few times before the screw lined up just right (not really a problem if it all comes together right eventually)If you're looking at this for a longer barreled tracker that you shoot mainly in single action mode, you will love it. If you're looking for something you can CCW, then you might be better off with the stock grips.

I have a 45/410 3" Judge. ...

I have a 45/410 3" Judge. I liked the original grips pretty well but they got in the way of my new Maxfire 45 Speedloaders. When I got this one on I thought, Oh wow this is IT! It feels so much better in my hand, perhaps because of the finger notches and thinner cross section. It definitely would contribute to faster instinctive shooting. And the grip-clearance I needed is there for my rubber speedloaders. Good looking too, with a no-slip surface. It even matches the almost identical style Hogue custom rubber grips on my Taurus UL85, which I also rate very highly. Now I have a pair of sweet Taurus revolvers, big and small, both with Hogues. My money was very well spent!

These grips fit perfectly on my Taurus 45 LC/410 3" Judge. The original "rubber" grips were okay, but the pistol didn't feel secure in my hand. These grips fill up my hand perfectly and make the pistol feel great. Plus the grip slipped on like a glove, took me under 45 seconds to install. GREAT!! Highly recommend this addition to any Taurus Tracker series revolver.
