The Glockworx Standard Competition Trigger incorporates a fixed pre-travel stop that significantly shortens the trigger's pre-travel while still being legal for IDPA SSP and USPSA Production divisions. Trigger reset is shortened, allowing for faster and more accurate shots regardless of skill level. The smoother, shorter, and lighter pull is a significant improvement over the factory Glock trigger. I installed this product and was very happy with it... for one week. The high polish on the trigger bar is excellent. The geometry of the design results in a much improved take-up, overtravel and reset. However, the shape of the trigger and trigger safety is uncomfortable and annoying. The trigger safety lever is very narrow and sharp. After one week, the trigger safety spring failed to suficiently reset the trigger safety. So, the trigger can be pulled without pressing the safety lever. > This was on a G34 with a Glockworks extra power trigger spring and a brand new Wolf 4 lb. striker spring. YES, the trigger was FULLY reseting, the safety was well clear of the frame, you could pull the trigger fully forward but the safety lever would not spring out far enough to block the trigger against the frame. When I istalled this part, I noticed that the trigger sagety spring seemed week but it worked. After one week where I shot maybe 300 rounds, it failed! I am now using the more expensive version (same manufacturer) with aluminum trigger and safety lever. I love it so far... and the safety reset spring seems much more positive. The aluminum trigger means it is not legal in IDPA SSP... but if it is reliable, I'll just move to ESP.

My IDPA scores are REALLY bad so a friend (and better shooter) suggested I look into some trigger work. Local "smiths" were too pricey and vague as to what they would produce. I looked at several trigger sets for my G35 and decided to try this one, in the competition flavor.My concern surrounded the install ---- here's a tip - go to your "YouTube" section on the internet and plug in "GLOCK DISASSEMBLY" .... dozens of good videos on replacing the trigger. It took me 10 minutes. I also bought the replacent trigger spring as recommended by the other reviewer. the new trigger is great .... but don't be concerned when you read "no pretravel" ... there is a little, just no where near as much. It's crisp, clean, and retains the safe design of the Glock.

I own and shoot several Glocks, Smiths and Springfields in 9mm, 40 and 45. My Glock 19 and 2 spare mags is my "go to" pistol. Glock's only short coming has always been it's trigger. You know what I mean - pretravel from NC to CA, then wonder when it's gonna fire. Totally dependable gun - just a trigger issue for me. While ordering parts from Midway for my 1911, I saw the glock section. I'm on a budget, so after carefully reviewing the glock info I ordered the Glockworx Competition Drop in Trigger along with the Trigger spring - part #611080. Took about 5 minutes to install. I knew immediately This Was It. The perfect Glock combination. Absolutely Drop In - just a smooth, light pull and surprise (bang). Greatest thing since sliced bread. Buy it now - you will not be disappointed.
