ProMag magazine bodies are constructed of high carbon heat-treated steel and TIG-welded for strength. The springs are precision wound using heat-treated chrome silicon wire. Bases and followers are injection molded from polymers selected for their durability. The result is quality, consistency, durability and reliability.

Magazine loads, fits & functions perfectly in both my rifles. I purchased 2 of them. Each of them work equally well. Although they do not look exactly the same as issued magazines, they create a good appearance in my Enfields. I would definately buy them again.

As far as the quality of the magazine goes, it is A+. However, in my American made Savage Enfield, minor/moderate fitting was required so that shells fed smoothly or even at all. I can't speak for all of the British variations, but at least with the American models, fitting may be required. Otherwise, its a quality, well-made magazine.

my magazine did not function at all to my surprise however if youre wanting to show the gun off to someone i would say it looks good, it has very deep bluing and a very distinctive look n the enfield rifle but still use the originals when shooting these rifles or you will be at the range looking like a cluster brained moron because you will either be trying to punch the bolt forward to chamber a round or like the other commenter said you will have 3 or more rounds eject lol that doesn't sound fun at all(FOR: 1943 Canadian Long Branch NO4 MK1)

I bought this magazine to save wear and tear on the originals. This mag fits into my Savage, Long Branch and British made Enfield rifles. However, I can't get 10 rounds into it. The follower jams and the rounds do not feed correctly if at all. I WILL be getting my money back and I'll never buy another pro mag.

Up: Fits my Lithgow No.1 Lee Enfield perfectly. This magazine is engineered really well. Fits both #1 and #4 interchangeably (the originals do not). Good quality manufacturing, it uses a thick gauge steel and it is durable. Notably, the rounds do not fall out of the magazine when turned upside-down as this happens with many others.Down: Holds up to 8 rounds well (should hold 10), the spring seems too stiff. I would say try one, its half the cost of an original, and works similar, but obviously not the same. It will surprise you. Rating: 7/10.

I have to wonder if they have two suppliers for their spring steel. One makes it right, the other too stiff. Mine was so stiff, it ejected several rounds at a time. Useless.

This magazine is great. I replaced it after my original one decided not to feed properly. After a day of using it in the field hunting all I can say is that this is worth the buy. It feeds really good and the spring pressure is stiff enough to keep the rimmed cartridges in place and not rattling around.

These magazines are junk. How anyone can call these quality is beyond me. I am returning them. I will never buy anything with the Pro Mag name on it again. Not quality, JUNK

This clip would not fit or feed ammo correctly. The spring is too stiff. It is not worth the money.

This mag looks great and works ok, just don't ever try to disassemble it to clean it. It is so poorly designed that it is near impossible get back together. It is cheaply made. Don't waste your money... in the end I just threw mine out and went out and bought an original.

Just wanted to say it was a good buy. They fit my rifle like a glove and took away any feeding problems I had with the original mag. Very well made and soft points feed just fine too. I'll have to buy some more. The rifle I have is a Santa Fe Division of Golden State Arms Corp. 1941 Supreme Sporter #3 .303 if that helps.
