Item is what I paid for. Cheap.Just installed it. Package did not appear to contain snap ring. I will return to my work site and look again, though not very hard because of the other reviews.Item is not Matte finish, it is more glossy. The picture of product appears correct, but the shine you see under everyday lighting conditions is not present.I just tried to close the door a few times. I was able to get it to close if I depressed the pin that holds it closed a little bit. Not impressed with that, but I will see what I can do make it close easily... Maybe it will get better with time?Overall, I got what I paid for. A cheap dust cover. Personally, I will spend a little more on the next one.Kit

C-Clip should come ...

C-Clip should come pre-installed so there is no chance of losing it when you try to assemble the parts. Otherwise good product. I appreciate having all of the items in the kit.

I bought this just for the pin, clip and spring, because it was actually cheaper to buy the assembly then the three parts separately. The finish on the cover isn't the great, which is why I went with a different cover, but the pin, clip and spring all work great, and seem to be well made.

I ordered this and a DPMS forward assist assembly. Both arrived 3 days earlier than expected. I opened the package to inspect the contents. At first, I thought that the tiny hinge pin snap ring was missing. Then after turning on another light, found it stuck to the cover itself in a light coating of oil. Great price, fast shipping and got exactly what I paid for. I'm a happy camper.

Exactly as expected, nothing notably exceptional. All parts present, well coated with preservative oil. Installed 2 kits into 2 DSA stripped uppers without incident... exactly how you want your build to go. Take your time and locate the c-clip in the bag (it is transparent for a reason) before you open it. Doing so will help avoid any lost clip issues.

Got mine and all parts were present, the finish was matte, and fit and looks good. It was a little hard to close at first, but after opening and closing a couple dozen times it works great. I do agree with others that the c-clip should be installed on the pin before shipment, that would solve a lot of problems with lost clips. I thought I had lost mine during my installation, only to find it had slipped under my wedding ring, and I never felt a thing, that's how small this clip is. My only complaint is that the spring should be ( in my opinion) black, not S.S., but for the price you can't go wrong!

Fit my Wilson Combat Upper with no problems. It would be easier to install if C clip was already attached, but managed on to get it on. Color matched perfectly.

4 stars just because the bag had been torn open by the spring, and the little C clip was missing, probably fell out through the hole from the spring. I found a replacement 1/8" C Clip at a local hardware store for 30 cents, but they're hard to find.
