Tried this item on an Ithaca Mod 37 DS Police Special. Could not get tight enough to keep from slipping on the barrel before soft allen (supplied) head rounded out. UM needs to supply hardened screws with this unit.

This is the size band to fit an H&R/NEF single-shot 45-70 buffalo hunter style. Works much better than trying to drill that shaped forestock.

Fits nicely on my Benelli SBE. The only problem I encountered is that they provide you the wrong allen wrench. I ended up having to use a 2.5 metric.

I have used Uncle Mike products for years. One of the best companies in the business. I bought the shotgun barrel swivel mount to go on a Choate Magazine Tube Extension. The swivel band will not fit the extension out of the box, it is to small. The diameter of the extension is slightly over 1"(1.00). I used a socket the same outside diameter as the extension tube to expand each half of the clamp. I did this by laying each half of the clamp on a block of wood, the inside of clamp facing up, then laid the socket in the clamp and taped the socket LIGHTLY with a hammer until the band conformed to the socket. After doing each side the band fit exactly around the extension tube. I did not use any heat on the clamp and it expanded just fine. If you use excessive torque on the supplied allen wrench it will round the allen head set screw. Use common sence.
