This neck lube works a lot better than mica. Cuts down on the friction when neck sizing to a point you do not even feel any resistance. Just be careful when opening because the little balls fly out if you are not careful. Also, when you finish neck sizing, use a brush to clean out the leftover graphite in the case neck to help seat the bullet with more neck friction. And yes, it is way better than mica and a breeze to use.

Works as advertized.

Cases dipped in the media have lube on the exterior, but the inside wall of the case doesn't appear equally lubed, which leaves me guessing whether lube will be applied to the expander die.
I use it for steps 2 & 3 of a 3 die sets. I prefer a spray-on lube for step 1. I only lube every 5th shell which speeds up the process and saves spills and media.

This is THE WAY to lube your cases for neck sizing! I've tried many ways of lubing, and this is by far the best. The ceramic media is small enough where it always falls out of the case neck, and carries the lube very well. It deposits just the right amount of lube, and does it cleanly and efficiently, not making a mess on the case or your reloading bench. Truly a great product, try it!

This is the best lube that I have found for the inside of case necks, period. I was having issues with so much friction with both 270Win and 300WinMag cases that I was shaking stuff off of my reloading bench. I tried the lighter (silica?) powders, and nothing seemed to make a difference until I used this stuff.As this is graphite mixed into a mass of ceramic balls, NEVER OPEN THE CONTAINER IF IT IS NOT SITTING FLAT ON YOUR BENCH!!! When you have had to clean off your bench and chase little ceramic balls everywhere with a shop vac, you learn quickly not to repeat your error. I do not blame the product, only my own ignorance. As for mess while using the product properly, it is negligible. I keep a cotton rag on hand and wipe my finger and the cases down after resizing. Once trimming and deburring is done, the cases go back into the vibratory cleaner for an hour or so prior to finishing the load. Therefore, no residual mess whatsoever to contend with, and no trace of lubricant inside of the case necks. 5 stars, and A+

This product really does a great job. I have been loading for about 25years on and off and this is a bit revolutionary. No mess in the neck, huge. I did buy mica at the same time, but I have not tried it yet to compare because I liked this so much. This and the case lube will be hard to improve on. It will always be on my bench. I put three of four in the can and take from the can and repeat. Could not be easier.

This product is a huge improvement over the traditional method of neck lubrication. All you have to do you dip the casings into the lubricant media, give the case a quick tap on the side of the container to knock off the excess lube, size the case, and wipe the case clean with a cloth or cleaning patch!

I love this stuff. Dunk ...

I love this stuff. Dunk the case in up to the shoulder and the neck gets a thin coat inside and out. Wipes off clean with a dry paper towel or rag no mess. Kind of a pain to get off your fingers but who cares. Also, if you dunk it a few times and get alot on the outside of the case and run it into the die you can see a thin black line where your neck sizer die stops. If you are setting up a new neck sizer die or if you just want to double check to make sure you are sizing just enough but not too much of the neck without contacting the shoulder this will draw a line where the sizer stops. I size .308 and 7 rem mag so every case I crush is a dollar down the drain. This stuff pays for itself.

This is a GREAT product worth every penny it costs -- EXCEPT the 35mm film size container has proved it dumps and spills way too easy -- hence my second purchase. I will glue the new one to a soup can lid when it comes, or similar, to hopefully make it (oops) tip-over proof...
