Bought for the bayonet lug... even though I don't have a bayonet. It came right on though and the rifle still shoots.

Looks can be deceiving

Flash hider looks great and went on easy...However I just purchased a GI Milpar M6 bayonet and it didn't fit. The tooling on the bayonet lug was out of tolerence. I plan on returning the flash hider for one that actual will hold a bayonet. The pliers worked as advertised.

After buying a cheapo FS for $30 with a set of knockoff castle nut pliers (which broke without any real pressure) I was really pleased with this product. The FS matched my SAI M1A Loaded perfectly and the pliers were solid enough to break loose the castle nut which is a real pain on SAI barrels. Definitely worth the buy and a true deal if you are to compare prices anywhere else. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

I bought the set and it was very easy to install. It took me less than five minutes. I can't tell the difference between the quality of the new flash hider and the one that came from the Springfield factory. I had shopped around and the price was the best anywhere. The bayonet lug worked perfect. If you are looking to get a bayonet lug for your M1A don't be afraid to get this set.

This product is outstanding !! Original packaging from Springfield armory. This product is fairly hard to find, its not even listed on Springfields website. I almost lost it when my gunsmith ground off the bayonet lug on my pre ban M1a competition service rifle during some rework. To me an M1a,M14 just looks right with the original flash hider assembly. Id give 6 stars if I could.
