I bought 4 of these magazines. I am able to fit 27 rds in each that I bought. I have not used them at the range but look forward to it.

I picked up 4 of these ...

I picked up 4 of these mags for my Saiga .308. Fit and quality was excellent. The followers all pushed in smoothly and evenly. The website calls them 24 rds, but the packaging states 25 rds, and 25 rds fit into the magazine. Discovered the reason for the discrepancy. After seating a magazine holding 25rds, it is impossible to retract the bolt to chamber the first round. 24rds allows the bolt to be retracted to chamber the first round. I put over 300rds through my Saiga using all 4 of these magazines and had no malfunctions of any kind. I will be buying a few more of these, and would recommend them to a friend.

I can understand fitting ...

I can understand fitting the exterior of the mag to fit, but the interior as well? Come on now. I should not have to file the interior of the mag so the shells can move the way they are intended to. I recommend spending your money on something else. I will be contacting ProMag soon.

I bought two of these ...

I bought two of these magazines for my Saiga .308 rifle. The build quality is fairly decent, but I ran into a problem the first time I used them.While these magazines are made of a polymer, it doesn't seem to be a self-lubricating polymer (such as you would find on a Magpul magazine). The fully loaded magazine bound up within the first 2 shots and refused to feed anymore. I emptied it and then took it apart and lubricated the flange of the follower with gun oil. This allowed it to feed with no problems after that, even with rapid fire.Realizing that I didn't want to find out the hard way that my magazine was not going to work because the lube dried up, I took some dry Teflon lube and coated the flange on the followers and allowed it to dry overnight (after cleaning off the oil).This has worked well! So well in fact, that I may do the followers on the other magazines that I own for my other firearms (only the ones that don't already self-lubricate, I'll leave the Magpuls alone)!With that one fix in place (Teflon dry lube on the follower flanges) I would not hesitate recommending these magazines to someone looking to buy low cost hi-cap magazines for the Saiga ,308 rifle.
