The Dewey Brush Adapter doesn't react with ammonia based solvents that attack copper & brass but also leave your patches a blue-green color so you are never sure if your bore is truly clean of copper. Dewey's aircraft grade aluminum has the same hardness of brass, it will not imbed impurities or harm your bore and ammonia will not attack it.
