Just switched to these slugs from another big name brand. The Fiocchi is extremely accurate and reliable out of our Mossberg 930 SPX and Benelli M2. A bonus is the light recoil which makes them great for 3 gun matches. We can consistently hit 6 inch plates to 50 yards in 3 gun matches.

The latest bunch of these I bought last year have a different slug shape than in 2007. I shot 'em through one gun and accuracy was no better than any other type. The 2007 version shot good in all three guns I tried. (The gun I used with these new slugs was not one of the original three but it shot some other slugs well.) I wish they would go back to the 2007 style.

These slugs functioned ...

These slugs functioned perfectly out of a Winchester SX2 3-1/2 mag shot gun. They were very low recoil however functioned flawlessly. Accuracy was 4in at 35 yards for 3 slugs. These also worked very well from a Remington 1100 with a Competition master barrel chambered in 2-3/4. This gun was very accurate with 3 slugs in 2in at 35 yards. Both guns had factory Modified chokes installed.

30 yd shots with a 20 smooth bore, bead sight was a delight. I use them for 3-gun where 10 or 20 rounds of slugs can be a bit tiresome and these made it enjoyable.

I have tried both Remington and Winchester managed recoil slugs and found these to be the most accurate with the least recoil out of my Mossberg 930SPX with zero failures in cycling the action. Price is also a plus.

The recoil is the same as bulk pack #8 shot. This is a powerful slug and is nice to shoot when full power slugs are not needed.

These slugs delivered excellent accuracy from a 18.5" smoothbore barrel with peep sights. At 50 yards: 3 shot group in less than 2 inches. At 100 yards: 3 shot group in less than 3.5 inches, and only ~ 4.5 inches more drop between 50 and 100 yards. Recoil is mild and helps with practical accuracy. Although a light load, the energy level meets or exceeds that delivered by popular 19th century black powder cartridges that are still getting the job done today!

In my guns Fiocchi slugs are by far the most accurate non-sabot slugs I have found, very nearly equalling saboted ammo at a fraction of the cost. Try them.
