I really like this product! Lefty's need this, it is a must. I hesitated at first due to the price, but once I got it, I was happy with my decision. I love the fact that I have the ability to eject a mag without fumbling around with the release on the opposite side, while maintaining my dominant hand on the pistol grip. Well worth it.

The norgon mag release will not scratch your weapon as others may do. Great for lefties or shooting weakside. Well worth the price an very simple to install.

Im not giving this item 5 stars. But it may not be the manufactures fault. There may be dimensional differences in various brands of lower receivers and magazines that could affect the fit of this part. In my case fitting was necessary. I installed the catch in a Sun Devil CNC machined lower receiver and the magazines are Stag Arms in 6.8 SPC. After installing the part into my lower receiver without fitting I found the catch engaged the magazine but did have enough travel when using the left release mode to release the magazine. There are two possible methods of solving the problem (1) grind down the catch where it engages the magazine notch to clear the magazine when pressed or (2) shim the release to decrease the catch engagement and travel to disengage the magazine. I choose the non-destructive 2 method to fit and tune the magazine catch. I slipped a #5 O-ring over the catch shaft before installing it in the receiver. This shimmed the catch just right to allow positive engagement and when the catch was pressed with the left trigger finger the magazine dropped out freely. The catch also works well pressing the button on the right side. I hope this helps someone else.

I thought this was an excellent piece of gear. Very well made and fit and finish was fantastic. The price is quite high in my opinion but worth it for me. This is the most solid and low profile ambi mag release I have seen and have since purchased about a half dozen of these for friends. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a great device for left hand shooters such as myself. It installs very easily. The only thing that would make this product better is a 1/4" extension to the release to give the shooter more leverage and less of a reach. Once installed I tried it and it works great from either side. You still can use the standard magazine release button on the right side of the weapon so you can drop the mag from either side.

Fits well. Good quality manufacturing. Easy to use with index finger of left hand. Pressure to activate is not too much to be a bother and keeps the mag from dropping out unnecessarily.
