Product Information

The front sight is made from pre-hardened 4130 chrome-moly steel while the rear sight is made from 1018 case hardened steel. The front sight clamps onto the barrel and features an AR-15 front post and detent. The rear sight can accept replaceable apertures.

This is a very high quality sight, and makes the Saiga very accurate with slugs. Far better than the original bead and notched sight, and a longer sight radius, too. It does include a small aperture, roughly about .15" or so, I'd guess, but that can be removed once the rear sight is installed simply by hammering it out, though it really is glued in there tight, not likely it's going to go anywhere by accident.Be sure to use something to spread the base of the front sight open a bit, otherwise you're going to scratch your barrel, as the front sight is fairly sturdy and a very precise fit.Really, what else is there to say? It's a good, solid sight, fairly more precise than the standard, moves the sight plane up maybe a quarter of an inch, and doesn't weight too much. Other than maybe a windage adjustable rear sight, I see no way to improve on this.

Nice look and feel. Not a ...

Nice look and feel. Not a do-it-yourself project though - I had to have a local gunsmith install the sights, and he had to file a corner off the peep sight to get it started into the slot.
