Disappointed in compatability

The doublestar gas block fits fine, lines up correctly,and functions, if you don't plan on using flip up sights, it is lower than standard flat top receivers,the front sight sits 1/4 in below rear sight level, no way to sight in.I will have to spend more money plus shipping to get one tall enough to be level for full sight base.

worked great on my lightweight .625 barrel with only some minor fitting. rifle functioned flawlessly, no cycling issues what so ever. Great railed gas block.

Does not seal off the gas ...

Does not seal off the gas well enough. This is press fitted to the barrel and is not tight enough. Lots of gas blow by on my 0.625 barrel. The Yankee Hill 0.625 is much better.
