This aftermarket conversion barrel is machined from solid aircraft 6061-T6 aluminum bar with a chrome-moly steel liner. This barrel includes a front sight, has a 1/2 x 28 threaded end and comes with a cap. Fitting may be required.

Outstanding barrel and ...

Outstanding barrel and company. I am on my second barrel as I sold my first Buckmark rig to a good friend when he received his Outback suppressor. My current Buckmark set up is a great balance of accuracy, light weight and durability. Currently running it with an Element suppressor - no problems after 2yr and several thousand rounds. No galling between steel suppressor and aluminum threads of barrel. Note 1 As you shoot and barrel warms up, it tightens up against the steel suppressor so there is no slippage - just tight until barrel cools a bit (a few minutes). Another buddy is getting one as well for the Element suppressor he is waiting on Form 4. Note 2 If you want the small under mount accessory rail - make sure to have TacSol or your smith to drill/tap the holes using HeliCoil thread inserts. They last forever and will keep you from stripping out. Also send your light or laser so they can measure exactly where to tap it onto barrel to give a snug fit to the front of the trigger guard. Been there, wish I had done that.

Excellent design and easy ...

Excellent design and easy to install. Came with instructions that were clear and step-by-step. Makes the gun feel more balanced. I used this on my original Buckmark to add a three lug adapter. This allows me to quickly move my MP5 suppressor (albeit 9mm) between the two guns. And it works great on the Buckmark. I still need to test for accuracy but it looks like it's built really well. The lining is very visible and appears to be about 1/2mm thick. Maybe 2/3. This barrel costs more than my Buckmark did 23 years ago but hey, that's the story of life. I really like it anyway.

Very accurate and so far in about 500 rounds not a hiccup using hi velocity ammo. Small increase in recoil but that makes it more enjoyable to shoot.
