Durable polymer construction in a paddle design. Offers various carry options, and will fit any Springfield XD, from the full size Tactical models down to the Sub-Compacts. Fully adjustable for carry angle, rotates a full 360 degrees. Integral molded rail for storage of the XML Tactical Light (sold separately).

I used it at the range with my 9-sub and my tac-45acp. It holds them both the same which is a testament to the XD design. Good holster for range work but if you set it low you can cut your thumb on the upper adjustment ring if you grab too fast. Not too hard to adjust for, but the first time it really sucks... Think blood, think band aides...Also as a CCH holster, even with the tension adjustment it tends to hold the gun too hard and forces me to push off with my thumb or trigger finger to get the gun out.It's priced right. Spend more for a life saver. Buy this to practice adverse conditions.

I could not get the holster to release my XD9, even with the tension screw removed. I sent it back to Springfield, and they sent me a replacement. I had the same problem with the replacement. I spent an hour carefully filing the inside with no luck - it still won't release my XD without significant effort. This was a real surprise given the quality of the XD and the gear that came with it.

I bought a Springfield Arms subcompact 9mm with the "kit". I DON'T like ANY of the "kit" parts, including this holster. It fits HORRIBLY. When adjusted snug enough to hold the weapon, it's almost impossible to pull it! This is a CHEAP piece made for a "complete" kit with the handgun. It was made CHEAP to keep the overall price down. I wish I had been able to find ONLY the 9mm XD subcompact without all the JUNK. I give the handgun an A+, and I KNOW handguns. The kit parts, however, and this holster. are CHEAP pieces. DON'T buy this!!

Had same problem with this holster as many others stated. Nearly impossible to get my XD out of it. My jeans and belt would pull over my head before I got the gun out of it...and that was with the adjustment screw completely taken out of it. Spend your money on a Blackhawk...its not much more and it is far better.

Overall, a good product for the money. I had to smooth the inside a bit as it was difficult to get a smooth draw from it initially.

I wish that I had listened to the other reviewers because this product is junk. My 9mm XD subcompact will not enter or exit this holster without an extreme amount of effort. I removed the tension screw completely and I still cannot pull the gun out unless I use both hands.

This holster can only be used for open carry. Sticks way to far out from the body. On second thought it is sticking out to far for even open carry. Useless to me.

Had the same problem with a tight draw, however the holster has grooves that slide into the accessory rail of the gun. I took a sharp chisel and sliced them down, it solved the problem. The grooves are not needed as the holster has a molded shape to begin with. For the 2 minutes it took me to shave them off, was well worth it for the price of the holster.

Lots of adjustment for height of gun and angle for draw. It holds the gun tight so you definitely need to wear a belt when using this; otherwise you'll draw the gun with holster attached.I had a 9mm (5") and 45ACP (4") XD. It worked great with both and I didn't adjust the tension screw between guns. When I first got it I did find a place where it easier for the 9 and tighter for the 45, but both were a good feel.
