I bought the product when I read of it in a sniper book. The guy who wrote seemed to know what he was talking about and if he suggested it, I would put my faith in it. I wanted to know if the product lives up to its name so I tested it out with a Sako TRG. Sentry Solutions claim to have increase in velocity, so with about 50 shots the velocity mean was not increased with Smooth-Kote, redid the process again using their powder (BP2000) in combination with smooth coat, there is an increase of 30 fps so that is true, and the other variable I was testing was to see if there was a reduction in fouling/powder residue left behind after shooting. I believe there was a considerable reduction in fouling while cleaning my rifle, this was basic military cleaning procedure, I put my word on it, fouling was drastically reduced. I would recommend the product to people. It has merit.

All I can say is wow, I have used every one of these products and they work every well and work just as they say they will. One thing they have not told you here is they work in the bore, just use the Smooth Kote first and then follow it with three or four applications of 2000 you will be surprised at what you get in fps, it can be messy if you get carried way just take your time and do it in the shop not in the house it is a very fine powder. I use it on all of my rifle and handguns. Will not use any other product, the liquids can be sprayed from a small spray bottle you can get, they also have grease that is just as good.

Wanted to smooth Moslin ...

Wanted to smooth Moslin trigger. Coated all contact parts, let dry and reinstalled. Result was not only smoother it lowered trigger pull a pound. Had tried Mountain Extreme and Disotec XFR on other rifles. They helped but not like Smooth Kote Dry did.

Great lube. Goes on as a very thin liquid and dries in about 5-10 seconds, leaves a nice thin layer behind. Just used it for the first time when I installed a Jard trigger in my Bushmaster. Works like it is suppost to, I'll be using this stuff from here on.
