I need to up-date my last ...

I need to up-date my last review: I have taken one black bear (332lbs) and five hogs ranging from 240lbs to 452lbs, all one shot kills and within 20ft. of where shot. I have also refined my reloads and now get 3/4 to 1 inch gps at 100yds. with this bullet, I shot the black bear at 110yds in Canada and all five hogs at 225 yds off shooting bench on patio at our place in Texas. My CZ-550 375 H&H with this load is easier to shoot than my 300 win mag. This is a very good bullet for the price, if you like to shoot a lot this is the bullet. The big hog (452lb) was shot walking away, went in right hip and out left front shouder and neck area, all the way through the whole hog, needless to say the hog did not go anywhere. I have also tried the 300's , 230's and 225 interlocks and they all shoot great in my gun but still come back to the 270 grain, it just feels better, loads and shoots great.

I love the price of these ...

I love the price of these bullets and they shoot well out of my Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan in .375 Ruger.A charge of H4350 gives me .6" groups at 100 yards. Not bad for a larger caliber. Should be excellent for hooved game in the States.

This is a very good ...

This is a very good bullet with very good accuracy. Shoots 1-3/4" groups at 200 yds. out of my Ruger M77 Hawkeye. Excellent performance on big game. I have taken three Black Bears (The largest being a 7' Cinnamon phase @ 300+ lbs.) with these bullets, all one shot kills, all pass throughs, all three dropped where they stood.

I have yet to hunt with ...

I have yet to hunt with this bullet but I have used the .338 200 gr Hornady SP very effectively. The bigger 270 gr .375 at about 2650 fps shoots about like a .30-06 with a 180 grain but hits much harder and makes a bigger and deeper hole. Accuracy (for the first 5-6 rounds) at 100 yds is about 1 moa in my rifle. If I had to shoot some really big tough animal with armor plate-like hide and massive bones (some type of dinosaur) I would go for a tougher bullet. I would expect the 270 grain Hornady SP at 2650 fps would drop anything in my local area or drivable area real good up to 400 yds.

I have used these on elk ...

I have used these on elk from my 378 WBY at 3150 fps. Long range it did great. However it did get consumed on a side shot at 12 yards on one bull. Found it resting under the hide of the far side with 44% weight retention mostly jacket and some lead. Would love to see an interbond in this weight.

I have used this bullet ...

I have used this bullet on most plainsgame that I have hunted in Africa I have tried the RN as well but the spitzer seems to work better very good accuracy and loaded to 2550 fps it has taken game from 100 - 2000 pounds with it. And a big bonus loaded at 2550fps there is very little meat damage. I will not use it on Dangerous game except for lion and leopard but on large game like eland at 2000 pounds I will have no problem.
