I want to start off by saying that I am very hard on knives. I work on machinery for a living, farm when I'm not at work, and hunt whenever I can. I carry one of these every day for 4 months. I have skinned several deer, many raccoons, and used it for a prybar, screwdriver ect. Yes you do have to sharpen it regularly, but it only takes 3-4 swipes on a steel and it's sharp again. So IMHO I like this knife, some may not because you do have to maintain it, but it's better than having a super hard blade that has to be sent off to get an edge on it.

Walther missed it on this ...

Walther missed it on this one, Chinese made with what seems to be a softer grade of 440 stainless, (not sure how you do that). Does not hold an edge, but takes an edge fairly easily, which is good because you'll get a lot of practice. Bought it as an everyday carry, sort of utilitarian knife to replace a folding knife with replaceable razor blade will go back to that. Thumb stud is not well designed, pocket clip broke after a couple of days, (one of the main reasons I bought it, you know, ease of retrieval and all that), and belt sheath works, but is not convenient. Quite sure there are many, many other knives in this price range that are of better manufacture. But hey, the packaging was impressive, gave the illusion of a good product.
