I have a set of these rings on my T/C Encore 209X50 muzzleloader. The medium height works well for scope objective clearance above the rear sight but more importantly it allows enough room for thumb clearance between the eyepiece and the hammer - no hammer extension needed! The rings are built like a tank, solid steel, and heavy. I love the QD levers, once set you can rotate them to your preferred position.

Have two of these on my scopes for my 375 H&H 1.5 - 5 for close work with 300 gr bullets and a 3-9 for the 270 gr. That way each scope is pre-zeroed for the bullet at hand and I've never lost zero with a change. Also use same two scope process for my 35 Whelen using 250 and 310 gr bullets. Open sights are available in less than 30 seconds if needed. I am a strong believer in Warne mounts and rings.

I have 2 sets of Warne QD rings, one on a Ruger .338 Win Mag Express Rifle (yes, collectors, I actually shoot it) and another on top of a stainless/synthetic H&R Sidekick .50 cal muzzleloader. Being able to peel my Leupold scope off of the frontstuffer before the hot water treatment allays my fears of harming expensive optics, but with the confidence of a return to zero upon re-affixing after cleaning. I use a Metrics Unlimited no-carrier breech plug, so the little bit of the carrier flag port that the Warne Picatinny base occludes is immaterial. If you have a Sidekick muzzleloader, these rings are hard to beat. And since you're going to want Warne's steel base anyway, you know you'll get perfect intervals and no gaps between base and ring crossbars. Lets you pull off the scope every time you clean, with no change in zero or risk of augering holes out like you have with aluminum.

Quality product. Takes very little adjustment to zero and so far has not marked up any of my scopes. I have 4 sets of the quick release and 2 permanent attach sets. One inch and 30mm, low and medium heights. All work great but prefer the quick detach. These let me move scopes around from gun to gun and seem to hold zero when taking them on and off the same rifle. If you are the kind that puts a scope on your rifle and never mess with after that, save some money and buy the permanent attach and forget about it.

These rings are solid. They would survive abuse and misuse. Being made of steel they will last the test of time. Only drown side is they are heavy.

In my opinion, these are excellent rings. They are well made. I have these on a couple of scopes and will put them on several more. You can detach and attach a scope with no loss of zero. Being able to take a scope off a rifle easily also makes packing for travel a lot easier.
