In a nutshell, if you can't hit the target using these sights, then you have no business shooting in the first place! The tritium combined with the fiber optics give you the best of both worlds. In daylight, including artificially lighted indoor ranges, the dots stand out superbly. At night, the tritium kicks in and the dots still glow bright. They're probably not as bright as Trijicon (arguably), but they are certainly bright enough for any practical purpose. I regret that I haven't had a chance to use them with a flashlight yet (Harries technique), but I suspect that the fiber optics will channel the ambient flashlight beam to the dots making them better than standard night sights in such a scenario. Construction is high quality, and I was able to install the sights myself (which is saying a lot, trust me!); they fit into the existing dovetails just great. The rear sight has a hex set screw to prevent any movement due to recoil. The front sight, however, has no means of being set it in place, but so far that hasn't been a problem; just something to be aware of and check periodically if your shots start drifting. I really love these sights, but if I was to make one complaint, it would be the same complaint I have about most every combat sight system out there... I wish the rear notch were wider. However, it is wide enough so that you can still pick up and center the front sight at least as well as the standard sights. Because of the fiber optic tube, the front sight is longer than the standard sight. This shortens the sight radius a tad; but it also means that the forward portion of the sight does not sit flush on the slide (it's hard to describe unless you actually see it). TruGlo could have done a better job with that, but it's a trivial point. It would have been nice if the front sight's base (the part in the dovetail) were longer as well; but again, a trivial point. Overall, I'd say these are the best 3-dot night sights I've seen... they're just

Sights went on without a hitch and although I havent taken the gun to the range yet, with the bore sight in there its right on the money. I'm sold on TruGlo now, this is my second set and they perform perfectly! Just like my other set, they are great in pitch black, and just as visible in the middle of the day.
